A late letterpress birthday or anniversary card - I don't know how you are, but in my family no one ever gets a card in the mail less than three weeks after the fact. This letterpress greeting card is designed for just that type of situation: a birthday, anniversary or other important occasion that just slipped your mind!
The inside simply says "fashionably late!" leaving lots of space for you to fill with cheerful sentiments and/or apologies for your lack of punctuality. The card measures approximately 5 1/2" tall by 4 1/4" wide, is printed in black and red oil based ink on sturdy pearl white cotton paper, and comes paired with a matching envelope. I printed the card on my antique press using metal type and my own hand-carved woodblocks.
